Experience

Kate is a UK native who was raised in Ireland and has lived and worked in the US for many years. She has held senior talent development and HR positions across diverse industries, including energy, telecommunications and hospitality. Most recently, Kate served as Director, Training and Development for Chesapeake Energy, one of the nation's largest producers of natural gas and an honoree on Fortune's 100 Best Companies to Work For list for seven consecutive years.

Meet Kate Beavin

Kate is an energetic facilitator, trainer and coach with 20 years of experience in talent development. Her passion lies in partnering with clients to design, execute and evaluate creative learning and development solutions that drive individual and organizational performance.

Credentials

Kate is a Birkman® Certified Consultant, Myer-Briggs Type Indicator® Certified Practitioner, and certified facilitator for well-known programs including Situational Leadership® II (The Ken Blanchard Companies), InsideOut Coaching® (InsideOut Development), Interaction Management® series and Targeted Selection® (Development Dimensions International). Kate holds a Master of Education degree in Adult and Higher Education with an emphasis on training and development from the University of Oklahoma. She was among the first talent development professionals in the US to earn the Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) designation from the American Society for Training and Development Certification Institute. She is also recognized as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) by the Society for Human Resource Management.

       

In her free time, Kate enjoys attending concerts, riding her ATV, and spending time with her family and three adopted beagles in Oklahoma.
